Earrings by Lara

Lara participated in Portrait of a Graduate at her school this year, where she decided to learn how to make earrings. Her project was only one of two from her class and she received one point away from a perfect score after being reviewed by a panel of judges where she had to present and explain her project from start to finish in detail, answering specific questions that pertained to the process of making them alongside how they help people and how they are applicable to a global market (I'm not even kidding!). I thought it would be a beautiful idea to teach her not only how to make handmade earrings and understand the craft and craftsmanship behind the process of making a product but also learn about entrepreneurship. So, she is setting up a mini shop. The funds she receives from her earrings will be her allowance money. 

All earrings are made from a mini 1cm pompom, a hypoallergenic stainless-steel post, and have a silicon backing for the finish of an adorable pompom earring.
